For the first time in five years, Valley International Airport has received a perfect score on its annual Federal Aviation Administration inspection.
The annual FAA inspection take place over three days to ensure the safety of passengers and airline and airport personnel. There is a focus on facilities like runways, lighting and firefighting and rescue resources, but there also is a major emphasis on proper training records.
